This program of lively jigs and reels, introspective airs, traditional and contemporary songs, and virtuoso step dancing features folklorist/singer/multi-instrumentalist Mick Moloney, an influential figure in Irish music in the US for three decades; fiddle master Liz Carroll, one of traditional music’s most sought after performers, with guitarist John Doyle; the remarkable button accordionist Joe Derrane, who first made his mark in the Irish American music scene in the 1940s, accompanied by John McGann on mandolin and guitar; and the innovative North American Irish Step Champion Donny Golden with his ensemble.
